Eric Quizon addressed once again the long-standing speculation about his sexuality as he takes on another gay role in the upcoming comedy film ‘Jackstone 5’, directed by Joel Lamangan and also starring Gardo Versoza, Jim Pebengco, and Arnel Ignacio.

This marks the second time the veteran actor portrays a gay character on the big screen, following his role in the 1998 film ‘Pusong Mamon’ with Lorna Tolentino and Albert Martinez.
Despite persistent rumors over the years, Eric said he remains unfazed and simply focuses on his work.
“Bahala sila kung ano ang gusto nilang isipin. ‘Yun lang ‘yun,” Eric said when asked about people reviving discussions about his sexuality due to his new role.
The actor was also asked about comments calling him the “next Dolphy,” referencing his father, the late King of Comedy, and the similarities in their comedic talent. Eric was quick to downplay the comparison.
“Being the next Dolphy, parang hindi. Parang marami pa akong kakaining bigas. There’s only one Dolphy,” he said.
‘Jackstone 5’ marks a return to the comedy genre for Eric, but the actor remains firm that he is simply forging his own path—regardless of public speculation or comparisons to his iconic father.
