JM Ibarra sparked excitement among fans after revealing that Fyang Smith is the only person he wants to be paired with in future projects, further fueling buzz around their JMFyang love team.

The two recently appeared on Rec•Create, where they took part in a lie detector game that gave viewers a glimpse into their dynamic both on and off screen.
During the segment, Fyang described JM as a “blessing,” while they also rated each other as former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemates. Fyang gave JM a seven, while JM rated her an eight, explaining that although they are close, Fyang can sometimes be a bit insensitive.
Both admitted that there are moments when they get annoyed with each other, but they usually choose not to dwell on these issues to avoid turning them into arguments.
When asked to choose between love and career, JM and Fyang agreed that they do not see the two as mutually exclusive. JM shared that his love life inspires him in his career, while Fyang said she believes she can balance both.
JM also opened up about feeling invalidated at one point after they left the ‘PBB’ house, back when their relationship was not yet as strong. Despite discussing the possibility that they might not always be paired together, JM said he would rather have no on-screen partner at all than be matched with someone else.
Fans were especially thrilled when JM admitted that he sees Fyang as part of his future, a statement that sent JMFyang supporters into a frenzy online.
The pair ended the vlog by inviting viewers to watch their first movie together as a love team, ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins’, one of the official entries in the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival this Christmas.
Meanwhile, JM and Fyang’s on-screen chemistry continues to shine in ‘Ghosting Part 2: Deja BOO!’ on iWant. In the latest episodes, JM’s character Macmac finally wins the heart of Jaja, played by Fyang, following intense emotional moments and playful clashes that endeared them to viewers.
