Kapamilya stars Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson are set to headline a new action-packed series together, slated for release in 2026.
The project was officially confirmed by ABS-CBN’s JRB Creative Production on Monday, December 14, following the release of a teaser reel announcing the upcoming collaboration.

“Magsasanib pwersa ang dalawang pangalan sa larangan ng aksiyon! GUTIERREZ x ANDERSON Abangan ngayong 2026,” read the caption accompanying the announcement.
The pairing brings together two of ABS-CBN’s most established action stars. Anderson recently starred in the crime thriller ‘Sins of the Father,’ which concluded last month, while Gutierrez last appeared in the action drama series ‘Incognito,’ which wrapped up in July.
The collaboration also fulfills a long-standing wish expressed by Anderson, who earlier reaffirmed his commitment to ABS-CBN during the ‘Solid Kapamilya: The Gerald Anderson Network Contract Signing’ held at the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater.
“Kahit 17 years na akong nagtra-trabaho sa ABS-CBN, I think these next few years mas motivated ako. Mas excited and mas passionate to do more projects na makaka-inspire sa mga Pilipino,” Anderson said. “Alam ko kasi na kapag binigay mo lahat at maganda ang proyekto, I have seen the impact sa mga kapwa Pilipino natin,” he added.
When seen asked about the kind of projects he wanted to take on next, Anderson shared that he hoped to do more action-driven series similar to his past hits ‘A Soldier’s Heart’ and ‘A Family Affair,’ and openly expressed interest in working with Gutierrez.
“Sabi ko sa kanya, I think dapat na tayo gumawa. Kakatapos lang ng ‘The Iron Heart,’ gawa tayo ng action-drama,” Anderson revealed.
The contract signing event was attended by ABS-CBN executives led by chairman Mark Lopez, president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, broadcast COO Cory Vidanes, CFO Rick Tan, TV production and Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, and Anderson’s handler Portia Dimla.
Beyond his acting projects, Anderson also expressed gratitude to ABS-CBN for inspiring him to give back through outreach initiatives.
“One of the things that inspire me before was yung mga outreach namin sa ABS-CBN,” he shared. “When people see the symbol sa mga shirt at trucks ng ABS-CBN at Sagip Kapamilya, nakikita ko sa kanila na parang si Superman yung dumating. To be part of that even hindi sa work, ipinagpatuloy ko ‘yan because of what I have seen sa mga outreach ko with ABS-CBN. I was inspired and I want to inspire others.”
