Viva Films officially launched its 2026 movie lineup with ‘A Werewolf Boy’, which held its red-carpet premiere on Monday night, January 12, at Cinema 2 of SM Megamall.

The Philippine adaptation has already begun earning praise for the polished direction of Crisanto Aquino and the performances of its lead stars Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji, marking the film as the opening salvo of Viva Films for the year.
As expected, the premiere was attended by a large number of devoted fans of the RabGel loveteam, many of whom arrived early at the venue to show their support. Walking the red carpet alongside the lead stars were director Crisanto Aquino, Candy Pangilinan, and other members of the cast.

Also spotted at the event were several Viva artists, including Jeffrey Hidalgo, Kyosu Guinto, and Jaja Disuangco. Adding to the significance of the night, Viva Entertainment executives Vic del Rosario, Vincent del Rosario, Veronique del Rosario-Corpus, and Valerie del Rosario were present to personally show their support for the RabGel pairing.
Rated PG by the MTRCB, ‘A Werewolf Boy’ serves as the official launching movie of Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji as a big-screen loveteam. The film opens nationwide in cinemas on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
In addition to its family-friendly rating, the movie is being offered at an affordable ticket price of PHP 275, making it more accessible to audiences nationwide.
