International actress, model, and entrepreneur Anastasiia Dymchenko is looking to expand her career in the Philippines, citing her deep appreciation for Filipino warmth, creativity, and love for cinema.

In our Zoom interview with other media, Dymchenko introduced herself as “an actress, model, and entrepreneur,” sharing that she spent many years in the fashion industry before fully committing to acting.
“I spent many years working in fashion — attending fashion weeks in Milan, Paris, and Dubai. Then I decided to follow my passion and begin my acting journey,” she said.
She studied acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where she discovered her love for cinema. “That’s where I truly fell in love with cinema. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to work on several international projects around the world — and acting has become the biggest part of my life.”
Dymchenko was born and raised in Samara, Russia, describing her childhood as energetic and creative.
“My childhood was very active — I was always dancing, singing, performing, always curious about everything,” she recalled. Becoming an actress, she said, was her dream since childhood, one that her family fully supported.
“They taught me discipline, kindness, and to dream big. And thanks to them, I am here today.”
At present, Dymchenko divides her time between acting projects and entrepreneurship, particularly in the UAE.
“Right now my life is very dynamic. I travel a lot, I do castings, film, I meet new people, and I’m also building my perfume brand in the UAE,” she shared.
Her recent acting credits include two major Russian films set for theatrical release and the international film John Shaw: Nuclear Winter, where she played the female lead.
“It was an incredible experience for me,” she said. “My main focus now is to continue growing as an actress — and I want to expand my work here in the Philippines.”
Dymchenko said she felt an immediate connection to the country.
“From the first time I came here, I felt how warm and sincere the people are. There is so much heart, emotion, and love for cinema,” she said. “The energy of the Philippines inspires me to grow as an actress.”
While details remain under wraps, she confirmed that discussions are already underway. “In the near future I’m planning to take a part in a big film project here, which is secret for now,” she said.

The actress also spoke about her growing career in the UAE, describing Dubai as a place that helped shape her independence.
“The acting world in the UAE is growing very fast,” she said. “Dubai gave me confidence, independence, and a bigger vision for my future.”
This year, she hopes to take on more complex roles internationally. “I want to take on deeper, stronger international acting roles — whether in films or TV series,” she said, adding that Hollywood remains a long-term dream.
Dymchenko expressed interest in portraying layered, emotionally rich characters.
“I want to play strong, complex women — mysterious, layered, with inner conflict,” she said, noting her attraction to psychological thrillers, dramas, and historical films.
Entrepreneurial side: perfume business
Beyond acting, Dymchenko also runs a perfume brand based in the UAE, describing it as another form of self-expression.
“Each perfume carries a part of my inner world,” she said. “When people wear it, it reveals differently on every skin — like a personal story.”
She is open to expanding the brand to the Philippines. “Filipino people love beauty, elegance, and self-expression — and I would be very happy one day to introduce my brand here.”
Her stay in the Philippines left a lasting impression, especially the people. She also shared her favorite local dishes, including chicken adobo, sinigang, halo-halo, and fresh seafood, particularly in General Santos.
Ending the interview, Dymchenko expressed her gratitude.
“From my heart — thank you. Thank you for your love, your kindness, your smiles, and your incredible support,” she said. “I feel truly grateful to be, even in a small way, part of your beautiful country.”
She closed with a heartfelt, “Maraming salamat.”
