The new year ushered in a heated three-way primetime ratings battle among ABS-CBN’s “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ),” GMA Network’s “Sang’gre,” and TV5’s ‘Totoy Bato.’ But which among them is winning the race?

Based on the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, GMA Network’s telefantasya series “Sang’gre” took the upperhand, consistently topping the ratings against its rivals.
On Friday, January 2, “Sang’gre” led the race with a 7.5 percent rating, followed by TV5’s “Totoy Bato” at 3.8 percent and “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” at 3.6 percent on A2Z Channel 11.
The Kapuso series further strengthened its lead on Monday, January 5, inching up to 7.6 percent.
Meanwhile, the Coco Martin-led action drama rebounded strongly, climbing to 4.3 percent on A2Z and posting a combined 8 p.m. timeslot rating of 6.4 percent when its Kapamilya Channel figures were included. In contrast, ‘Totoy Bato’ saw a sharp decline to 2.7 percent. By Tuesday, January 6, “Sang’gre” maintained its 7.6 percent rating, with FPJBQ holding on to second place at 4.2 percent, while ‘Totoy Bato’ continued its downward slide to 1.7 percent.
While “Sang’gre” is expected to dominate the three-way primetime showdown, “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’s” performance was notable following its exit from TV5.
Despite the relatively smaller reach of A2Z and Kapamilya Channel compared to GMA Network and TV5, the series’ steady ratings highlight the strong loyalty of its viewer base and underscore the significant impact of TV5’s decision to end its primetime partnership with ABS-CBN.
