The year is off to a strong start for Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza, as her psychological horror film P77 quickly climbed into the Top 10 Movies in the Philippines on Prime Video.
Just days after becoming available on the streaming platform, P77 surged in viewership among subscribers. As of Monday, January 12, the film had already reached the No. 2 spot and, at the time of writing, continues to hold its place within the Top 10.
Also starring award-winning child actor Euwenn Mikaell, the film features a strong ensemble cast that includes Jackie Lou Blanco, Carlos Siguion-Reyna, Gina Pareño, Rosanna Roces, Chrome Cosio, and JC Alcantara. The movie is directed by Derick Cabrido.
Beyond P77, Forteza remains busy across film and television. She also stars in Until She Remembers, a project by Brillante Mendoza, and previously appeared in Kontrabida Academy. On television, Forteza was last seen in the hit primetime series Beauty Empire.
With P77 gaining traction on Prime Video and multiple projects under her belt, Forteza continues to mark a strong presence across both streaming and traditional platforms early this year.
