Social media personality Bea Borres did not mince words as she expressed her disappointment over a viral Facebook post involving a transwoman who jokingly claimed she was menstruating and pregnant.

The controversial post, which Bea reshared on Sunday, January 18, featured a transwoman making light of biological experiences traditionally associated with women.
“Sa lahat po ng nagtatanong kung nag reregla ba ako as a transwoman living as a woman, yes po, ngayon buntis ako!
Lahat kayo invited sa viewing pag panganak ko, next month na po! Dapat habang iniiri ko to, andun kayong lahat ha? Thank you sa support madi!” the post read.
Bea, who has been open about her own difficult and high-risk pregnancy, responded strongly to the post, calling it disrespectful.
“As someone who experienced a difficult pregnancy, I find this very disrespectful,” Bea wrote.
“Biological women and trans women have fought for equality for many years. So let’s not mock each other.”
Her statement quickly resonated with many netizens, particularly mothers who shared their own traumatic pregnancy and childbirth experiences in the comments.
One netizen wrote, “Exactly!!! Ako muntik na ma-eclampsia nung nanganak ako dahil sa taas ng BP tas sinalinan pa ng dugo.”
Another said, “As a mother who experienced a life-threatening delivery, this topic can be triggering. Let’s be kind to one another.”
Others echoed Bea’s sentiment, stressing that pregnancy, menstruation, and childbirth are not experiences that should be joked about or trivialized.
Bea has previously spoken candidly about the physical and emotional toll of her pregnancy, saying she chose to share her journey not out of regret, but to shed light on the realities women face.
“I share my hardships not because I regret anything but because this is my reality. I want other girls, and one day my daughter, to understand how important it is to love yourself and choose better,” Bea shared in an earlier post.
She also revealed that her pregnancy is high-risk.
“So I have [a] high-risk pregnancy kasi. Lord, just make my baby healthy… kasi hindi na ako magiging malandi, ‘cause this is so hard!” she said.
