Celebrity couple Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera have once again dismissed speculation that they are the subject of a circulating blind item about a “power couple” allegedly facing marital problems.

The rumors began after a blind item spread on social media, claiming that a well-known celebrity couple was quietly dealing with a serious rift in their marriage. Netizens quickly began guessing which pair fit the description, with some pointing to Dingdong and Marian.
However, the actor appeared to brush off the speculation by sharing a lighthearted photo of himself and his wife on his Facebook page. In the image, the couple can be seen making playful “pouty” faces. Dingdong captioned the post: “Day two ng kaniyang workout for 2026 – at fresh pa rin. Marian Rivera.”
The post was met with enthusiasm from fans, many of whom interpreted it as a subtle yet clear response to the rumors. Several netizens commented that the couple’s visible closeness was proof that they were not the pair mentioned in the blind item.
Entertainment columnist Rose Garcia later shared additional context on her online show ‘Marites University’, saying she personally reached out to Marian regarding the issue. According to Garcia, the actress reacted casually to the rumor.
“Ni-message ko si Yan. Sabi ko, ‘I’m sure aware ka sa blind item kung saan sa comments section kayong dalawa ni Dong ang binabanggit,’” Garcia recounted. She added that Marian even called her and laughed it off, noting that such rumors tend to surface almost every year, especially around January.
Garcia further revealed that the photo she shared of the couple was taken while they were attending the football practice of their son, Sixto. Prior to this, Dingdong and Marian had also posted photos of themselves spending time together and working out as a couple.
Dingdong and Marian, who also share a daughter named Zia, recently celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary last December 30.
For now, Dingdong and Marian appear unfazed, choosing to let their public displays of affection speak for themselves.
