Speculation is once again building around the possible return of ‘Gandang Gabi, Vice’, the iconic comedy talk show hosted by Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda.

Buzz about the show’s comeback resurfaced after Vice served as a guest speaker at the 27th Inkblots, a three-day journalism training program organized by the University of Santo Tomas (UST). Inkblots, which began in 1999, was founded under then-Varsitarian editor-in-chief Christian Esguerra, who now hosts the podcast ‘Facts First with Christian Esguerra’.
In a post on X dated January 13, The Varsitarian—UST’s official student publication—reported that Vice appeared to hint at the return of the long-running program.
“Vice Ganda teases the return of Gandang Gabi Vice,” The Varsitarian wrote.
As of writing, however, no additional details have been released regarding the format, timeline, or platform for the rumored comeback.
This is not the first time talks of ‘GGV’s’ revival have surfaced. Back in 2023, Vice also alluded to the possibility of bringing the show back, even joking that pop superstar Britney Spears would be his dream guest if it ever happened.
The renewed buzz intensified earlier this month when fans took to social media to express their longing for the show’s return. On January 10, 2025, Vice responded to a viral X post calling for GGV’s comeback with a playful retweet: “Wait, let me fix my schedule. Chozzzzz!!!”
Originally launched on May 22, 2011, ‘Gandang Gabi, Vice’ became a staple of ABS-CBN’s Sunday primetime lineup. Initially planned as a limited run, the show extended for nearly nine years due to strong audience reception. It aired its final episode on March 8, 2020, with Raffy Tulfo as its last guest.
While there is still no official confirmation, fans are already floating ideas for a possible revival—including a modern take featuring viral Kapuso and Kapamilya stars, influencers, drag performers, and even an ABS-CBN–GMA Network collaboration.
