Kapuso actress Kris Bernal could not hide her excitement during her first on-screen encounter with Vice Ganda when she appeared on ‘It’s Showtime’ alongside fellow actress Beauty Gonzalez.

The two stars visited the noontime program on Wednesday, January 21, to promote their new GMA Afternoon Prime series ‘House of Lies’, but it was Bernal’s fangirl moment that quickly caught viewers’ attention.
As soon as she stepped on stage, Bernal openly expressed her disbelief at finally meeting Vice in person.
“Hala hindi ko akalain na na-meet na kita,” she said, drawing an amused reaction from the Unkabogable Star.
Bernal went on to congratulate Vice for his recent film achievement. “Hindi po. Totoo po. Pinanood ko rin ‘yung pelikula mo na ‘Call Me Mother’. Congratulations sa best actor award,” she told him.
Her excitement did not stop there, as she added another remark that sent the studio audience laughing. “Oh my gosh, totoo ka pala.”
Vice, known for his quick wit, playfully responded, “Ano ako, aparisyon?!”

Clips of their interaction quickly went viral on TikTok, garnering more than 1.7 million views and earning praise from netizens who found Bernal’s reaction endearing. Many commented that the actress remained “starstruck” despite being a star herself, while others even suggested she would make a good guest co-host on the show due to her energy.
During the episode, Bernal and Gonzalez also joined the game segment ‘Laro, Laro, Pick,’ teaming up with Ion Perez and Ryan Bang in hopes of winning ₱300,000 for a madlang player. Throughout the game, the two actresses danced enthusiastically, prompting Vice to joke, “Ang sexy nung (kay) Kris Bernal,” to which Bernal replied, “Hindi po ako makahinga.”
Before leaving the stage, Bernal once again expressed her excitement at meeting Vice face-to-face.
“It’s so nice to see you in person. Oh my gosh!” she said as she hugged the host.
Bernal and Gonzalez currently star in ‘House of Lies’, airing weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Network, while ‘It’s Showtime’ continues to air Mondays to Saturdays at noon on GMA and Kapuso Stream.
