My BFF and I arrived at the Mall of Asia Arena at around 2:30 p.m., and even before the show began, the magic was already in the air.

Upon entering the venue, we were greeted by numerous stalls selling Disney merchandise, along with a dedicated photo booth area where guests could take pictures with Anna and Elsa from Frozen. Many attendees, especially children, and I too, came dressed as their favorite Disney characters, with princess costumes filling the arena and adding to the festive atmosphere.
We were seated at the Premier Suites section, courtesy of Metrobank, so we headed up to the third floor to find our seats, take photos, and enjoy the food served before the show. Away from the rush of the main floor, the Premier Suites offered space to breathe, sit comfortably, and fully take in the experience without distractions.

The show began right on time at 3:00 p.m., opening with Jiminy Cricket and the shining North Star. From there, the performances unfolded seamlessly, led by Mickey Mouse and Friends, followed by beloved segments from The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, Toy Story, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Tangled, Raya and the Last Dragon, Cars, Encanto, Frozen, and Moana.
One by one, the characters my BFF knew by heart came to life on the ice. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto welcomed the audience with familiar charm. Aladdin and Jasmine soared effortlessly, Rapunzel twirled with radiant energy, and Cinderella glided gracefully with Prince Charming. Snow White brought back memories of gentler, simpler stories, while Tinkerbell sprinkled just enough pixie dust to make the night feel lighter.

The arena erupted with excitement when Lightning McQueen and Mater raced onto the ice, and the energy only grew stronger with the vibrant music and colors of Encanto. Frozen 2 followed with emotional performances that had the entire audience singing along, and when Moana appeared, brave and determined, I could see my BFF leaning forward, fully immersed in the moment.
By the end of the show, the smiles around us said everything. Some audience members even wiped away tears as they watched their favorite characters come to life. It was truly magical and deeply memorable, especially for anyone who grew up watching Disney movies.
As we headed home, tired but happy, I felt grateful not just for the show itself, but for the way we experienced it: unrushed, comfortable, and special.
