Award-winning actress Nadine Lustre revealed that she sees her current relationship as something she would no longer want to replace, saying she has even told her boyfriend Christophe Bariou that she would stop dating altogether if they were to break up.

In a candid conversation with Vice Ganda on the latter’s YouTube vlog, Nadine opened up about her views on love, marriage, and the future while promoting their Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 film ‘Call Me Mother’.
When asked by Vice if she felt she had already found her “prince charming,” Nadine answered without hesitation.
“Oo. Sabi ko nga sa kanya, ‘Kapag nag-break pa tayo, hindi na ako magdyodyowa,’” she said.
According to Nadine, Christophe stands apart from the men she had known in the past. While acknowledging that no one is perfect, she said her boyfriend is already “perfect” for her.
“Feeling ko kasi sobrang okay na siya para sa akin. Hindi man siya perfect pero, para sa akin, sobrang okay na siya and perfect na siya for me,” she shared.
“For some reasons, alam mo lang na ito na iyon and hayun ‘yong na-feel ko sa kanya. Kaya sabi ko, ‘Kapag nag-break pa tayo, hindi na ako magdyodyowa kasi ayaw ko na.’ For me, ang hirap makahanap ng katulad niya,” she added.
Vice also asked if she ever felt paranoid as Christophe’s girlfriend. Nadine admitted that while insecurity can still happen at times, it is no longer rooted in the relationship itself.
“Hindi ko alam pero napi-feel ko lang na secured ako sa kanya,” she said. “Depende talaga sa situation. Like ngayon, may mga times na napaparanoid pa rin ako but not because of the relationship.”
The conversation also touched on marriage. Nadine said she is not drawn to a lavish or extravagant wedding and would prefer something intimate if she ever decides to tie the knot.
“Ako, gusto ko naman ng celebration. Pero not necessarily as wedding, parang gusto ko lang ng celebration with family, ganyan,” she explained.
“Not necessarily malaking celebrations, like sa church, (hindi Disney wedding). Parang gusto ko lang by the lake, by the ocean with close friends, tapos after noon party lang kayo. Ganoon lang kasimple. Hindi ako nag-dream talaga ng malaking wedding,” she added.
Nadine also reiterated that while she is open to the idea of marriage and having children in the future, she does not feel ready yet for motherhood, believing it comes with a different level of responsibility.
The actress and Christophe were first linked in 2021, following her highly publicized breakup with former reel-and-real-life partner James Reid. Since then, Nadine has consistently spoken about being in a healthier and more secure place in her personal life, choosing to enjoy her current relationship without rushing major life decisions.
