Television host and actress Toni Gonzaga made headlines after candidly sharing that she is not afraid of death during the New Year episode of her online talk show Toni Talks, which featured a reunion with her former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ co-hosts Mariel Rodriguez and Bianca Gonzalez.

The episode delighted longtime viewers as the trio—popularly known as the original “Kuya’s Angels”—reunited and answered personal and thought-provoking questions drawn during the show. One of the questions asked whether they were afraid of dying.
Gonzaga answered without hesitation, saying she is not afraid.
“No. Because I know where I’m going. And I know na, in case, God will take care of my family, my kids, especially,” Gonzaga said. “’Yon lang ang prayer ko sa Kanya. Please take care of them.”
Bianca Gonzalez shared a similar sentiment, explaining that while death itself does not frighten her, thoughts of leaving behind family—especially children—naturally come to mind.
“Kung ako lang, you’re really not afraid to die,” Gonzalez said. “Because I’d like to believe na we’ve done everything that we can and want to do.”
Meanwhile, Mariel Rodriguez became emotional as she admitted that she is afraid of dying, largely because of her children with Senator Robin Padilla.
“I really cannot die,” Rodriguez said tearfully yet with humor. “That’s why I’m taking all of the supplements so that I don’t die. I wanna live forever—for my kids.”
She added that she often tells her children that she plans to live forever, joking that she takes all her vitamins to ensure she can stay with them as long as possible.
The honest exchange highlighted the strong bond and chemistry among the three hosts, drawing positive reactions from viewers who expressed nostalgia for their Pinoy Big Brother days. Many fans also shared hopes of seeing the trio reunite inside the Bahay ni Kuya again, even for a special episode.
