Unkabogable Star Vice Ganda did not mince words as he called out guest celebrities who appear unenthusiastic during their appearances on ‘It’s Showtime’, stressing that performers should bring energy, especially when they are on the program to promote a project.

Vice made the remarks during the January 21 episode of the noontime show, where Kapuso actresses Kris Bernal and Beauty Gonzalez guested to promote their GMA Afternoon Prime series ‘House of Lies’.
Praising the two actresses for their enthusiasm, Vice commended how actively they participated in the show’s games and dance segments.
“Sa lahat ng artistang nakilaro dito, si Kris at Beauty talaga ang super dance, ini-enjoy nila talaga,” Vice said, noting how the pair fully embraced the fun atmosphere of the program.
However, the comedian-host contrasted their energy with that of other guest celebrities he claimed appeared shy, uninterested, or unmotivated during their visits.
“Yung iba kasi nahihiya! Nagpopromote tapos nahihiya? Ano kaya ‘yun? Maraming pumupunta dito, makikipromote na nga lang, maarte pa!” Vice remarked.
“Sila (Kris and Beauty), ‘yung laban na laban. Kapag magpo-promote, energy! Yung iba tamad na tamad,” he added.
Co-host Jhong Hilario jokingly urged Vice to name the personalities he was referring to, but Vice declined and quipped that those artists allegedly came from another network.
Despite not naming anyone, Vice’s comments quickly circulated online and sparked discussions among viewers, with netizens speculating about which celebrities might have been alluded to.
During the same episode, Bernal and Gonzalez joined the game segment ‘Laro, Laro, Pick,’ alongside Ion Perez and Ryan Bang, playing for a madlang player with a chance to win ₱300,000. The actresses remained energetic throughout the segment, even dancing on stage, which drew playful remarks from Vice.
“Ang sexy nung (kay) Kris Bernal,” Vice commented at one point, prompting Bernal to reply, “Hindi po ako makahinga.”
‘It’s Showtime’ airs Mondays to Saturdays at 12 noon on GMA Network and Kapuso Stream, while ‘House of Lies’ airs weekdays at 3:20 p.m. on GMA Network.
