Comedy Concert Queen Aiai delas Alas has clarified that while she and Kris Aquino have reconnected, there has been no full reconciliation — they have simply started communicating again.
During her recent appearance on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’, Aiai shared that they are now on speaking terms after years of distance.
“Okay kami, nag-usap na kami,” Aiai said. “Sabi nga, time heals all wounds.”
She added, “I wish her well because she’s my friendship all the way.”
Her statement indicates that lines of communication have reopened, but she did not explicitly say that everything has been fully resolved.
Aiai and Kris were once very close, working together as original judges on ‘Pilipinas Got Talent’ and starring in the hit film ‘Sisterakas’ with Vice Ganda.
Their friendship reportedly cooled off years ago, with veteran columnist Cristy Fermin previously linking the tension to issues involving Kris’ former husband, James Yap.
Despite the past misunderstanding, Aiai had earlier expressed concern for Kris amid her ongoing health battle with autoimmune diseases.
For now, what’s clear is this: they have reconnected and begun talking again — a meaningful first step after years of silence.
