Another Filipino singer has brought pride to the country after making waves on the international stage.

Sparkle artist Arabelle dela Cruz, also known by her competition moniker “Laguna Diva,” was named grand champion of Veiled Cup Korea, which aired on Seoul Broadcasting System on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Arabelle emerged victorious in the final round against contestants from Laos, South Korea, and two singers from Thailand. She clinched the top spot after earning the highest combined scores from both the judges and viewers for her sultry rendition of ‘Feeling Good’.

Notably, Arabelle was the only Filipino contestant to advance to the finals of the competition.

Joining Arabelle in representing the Philippines on the global stage were Garrett Bolden, known as “Zambales Beast,” and Thea Astley, dubbed “Manila Storyteller.” While both fell short of the finals, they expressed gratitude for the opportunity to compete internationally.

A total of contestants from nine countries participated in Veiled Cup Korea, with three singers each representing different nations. Aside from the Philippines, competing countries included China, Indonesia, Japan, Mongolia, Laos, South Korea, and Thailand.

Before her win in Korea, Arabelle had already proven her vocal prowess locally after finishing as runner-up in The Clash Seasons 5 and 7. Her triumph at Veiled Cup Korea marks a major milestone in her career and solidifies her standing as one of the Philippines’ rising vocal powerhouses.

Her victory follows another recent success by a Filipina singer in South Korea, after Gwyn Dorado placed second in Sing Again 4, whose grand finals were held on January 6.
