Actor McCoy de Leon has publicly expressed support for Coco Martin following the controversy sparked by the viral accusations of Rod Navarro Jr.

Coco, who currently headlines and directs ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo’, has recently been the subject of online debate after Navarro alleged mistreatment during his stint on the show. In response, several personalities have come forward to share their experiences working with the actor-director — including McCoy.
McCoy, who portrayed David, the brother of Coco’s character Tanggol, reflected on his time in the series in a Facebook post on February 18.
He emphasized that while the role was demanding, the opportunity itself was a blessing.
McCoy added that Coco’s support went beyond professional collaboration.
The actor underscored the importance of hard work once opportunities are given.
He also expressed sadness over the situation.
McCoy ended his message with a show of loyalty.
McCoy is among the latest personalities to defend Coco Martin. Earlier, talent manager and host Ogie Diaz also released a statement countering Navarro’s claims.
As of writing, Coco Martin has not issued a direct response to the allegations. However, the wave of public endorsements from former and current collaborators continues to reinforce his reputation within the industry as both a mentor and benefactor.
