‘Magpakailanman’ features the story of a ‘Viral Yaya’

This Saturday, February 7, Magpakailanman presents a moving story of resilience, sacrifice, and the healing power of love and home.
Titled Viral Yaya, the episode stars Rikki Mae Davao, Jackie Lou Blanco, Soliman Cruz, Kuya Kurt, Tala, and Kazel Kinouchi.

Rikki Mae brings to life the inspiring journey of Nolyn, a rebellious teenager from Isabela who dared to defy expectations in her youth. Seeking a better life, she left her hometown to work in Hong Kong, enduring loneliness, sacrifice, and the harsh realities of being an overseas worker.

Just as Nolyn was learning to build a life of her own, she was struck by stage A-1 womb cancer, a battle that threatened not only her dreams, but also her life.

In the midst of fear and uncertainty, hope came through the Wright family, the kind and generous employers who treated Nolyn not as a helper but as a family member. When they relocated to Singapore, Nolyn went with them, finding healing, purpose, and love, especially from the children she cherished as her own.

Years later, Nolyn faced the most painful goodbye. She left behind the children she had cared for to return to Isabela, where she was finally reunited with the family she had sacrificed so much for.

Directed by Neal Del Rosario, written by Vienuel Ello, and researched by Georis Cielo Tuca, this episode reminds viewers that even in the face of hardship, love and belonging can light the way back to where a person truly belongs.
Catch Magpakailanman every Saturday at 8:15 p.m. on GMA-7. Global Pinoys can also catch the program via GMA Pinoy TV. For more stories about the Kapuso Network, visit www.GMANetwork.com.
