The legal counsel of Michelle Dee and Rhian Ramos has firmly denied viral claims on social media that an alleged ampao taken from Dee contained explicit material involving a “threesome sex activity,” calling the rumor baseless and damaging.

The issue stemmed from reports that Bonifacio Tibayan Baro, the personal driver of Ramos, allegedly took an ampao belonging to Dee. Online speculation quickly escalated, with netizens circulating unverified claims about the supposed contents of the item.
In a message exchange with Abante entertainment editor Jun Lalin via Facebook Messenger, the actresses’ lawyer Maggie Abraham-Garduque addressed the rumor directly.
“Una na naming sinabi na ang laman nito ay sensitibong larawan. Pero gusto lang naming klaruhin na taliwas sa naglalabasan sa social media ay hindi ito threesome sex activity ng mga client namin,” Abraham-Garduque said.
She appealed to the public to refrain from making unfounded judgments, stressing the harm such speculation causes.
“‘Wag po sana tayong manghusga na walang batayan at ikakasira ng mga personalidad na nabanggit,” she added. “Masyado na pong nasira at nasaktan ang aming mga kliyente sa walang batayang akusasyon sa kanila na illegal detention at physical assault, ‘wag na po sana nating dagdagan pa.”
The lawyer did not disclose whether Dee and Ramos plan to file cyber libel complaints against individuals spreading false information about the alleged contents of the ampao.
Meanwhile, Dee’s mother, former beauty queen Melanie Marquez, also took to social media to express her anger over the controversy involving her daughter.
In a Facebook post, Marquez wrote, “MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL ACTS!” alongside a close-up photo of herself with the word “Magnanakaw” emblazoned on it, referring to the driver.
She went on to allege that the incident was part of a larger scheme. “It’s exactly the definition of Rhian his real intention is to BLACKMAIL FOR MONEY with CONSPIRACY BEHIND this Liar!” she wrote, later adding that there may have been collusion behind the accusations.
Marquez also called for accountability against those she believes initiated and fueled the scandal. “THE PERSON WHO STARTED AND FEED THIS MALICIOUS EVIL ACTS OF CRIME TO SCANDALOUS THE IMAGES OF OUR ACCOMPLISHED ARTIST MUST PUT IN JAIL!”
As of this writing, Baro has yet to issue a public response to the latest statements. His side remains open for clarification as investigations and legal proceedings related to the broader dispute continue.
