Sofia Trazona has opened up about the unwavering support she receives from her biological father, Michael Navarro, saying she now feels like a true “papa’s girl.”

In a recent TikTok video, the drag performer responded to netizens’ comments about her family dynamics, particularly a remark noting that while Alvin Aragon — husband of former SexBomb member Izzy Trazona — is not her biological father, her real father fully supports who she is today.
Laughing at the comment, Sofia agreed.
“Mapa sa pagda-drag, mapa sa pagiging trans ko, sobrang supportive niya,” she said.
She shared that her father even acknowledged her transition by calling her by her chosen name.
“Dumating din sa point na binili niya ako ng maraming makeup na Mac dahil nga supportive siya sa trabaho ko, supportive siya sa ginagawa ko. Wala siyang nakikitang mali sa ginagawa ko. Pati hormones ko siya na rin bumibili minsan.”
Because of that consistent support, Sofia said she has grown even closer to him.
“Grabe talaga ‘yung support na nakukuha ko sa kaniya na naintindihan niya kung ano ‘yung gusto kong gawin. Naiintindihan niya kung ano ako and mas kinikilala niya pa ako. Kaya super, super proud of my father. Maraming maraming salamat sa tatay ko.”
Sofia’s post comes shortly after she admitted that she and her mother have not seen each other in person for some time.
“I also am scared na pagnakita niya na ako ngayon as a transwoman, iba ‘yung reaction na ma-receive ko and ayoko na bumalik sa dark place nu’ng lumabas ‘yung issue,” Sofia previously shared.
“I just want validation and acceptance. Wala ng iba.”
Izzy later addressed the matter publicly, sharing a screenshot of their recent exchange to show that they remain in communication.
In the message, Sofia wrote to her mother: “I’m so happy and proud of you!! In spite of everything, you still sticked to what you know is right. Naiiyak lang ako na nakita ko na nasa concert ka with your friends.”
Izzy responded, “Salamat anak by His strength always. I miss you! Continue to be strong praying for you always. Mag-ingat ka palagi. I love you.”
“I miss you super! Pinagpi-pray kita palagi. I love you too!” Sofia replied.
Sofia first publicly came out as a transwoman in January 2025. While family tensions have surfaced in the past, her latest posts highlight the deep affirmation she feels from her biological father — a support system she describes as life-changing.
