Internet personality Andrea Brown has denied rumors linking her romantically to actor Enrique Gil, including claims that they are living together.
The speculation stemmed from a blind item and sightings of the two together, which fueled online chatter about a possible relationship. Some rumors even alleged that Brown had gotten pregnant and undergone an abortion—claims she firmly denied.
According to showbiz insider Ogie Diaz, he directly messaged Brown to clarify the issue.
“Sabi ni Andrea hindi raw totoo na siya ay nabuntis at nagpa-sunshine (laglag) at hindi rin daw totoo na sila ni Quen (palayaw ni Enrique). Kuya Quen ang tawag daw niya kay Quen, hindi rin totoong sila ay nagli-live in, nahihiya raw siya kay Quen kasi kuya-kuyahan niya,” he shared.
Brown also emphasized in her message that she wanted to speak up but was hesitant to draw more attention to the issue.
“I honestly want to speak up about it but I don’t wanna put more attention on the issue. Super nadadamay na rin kasi ang personal life ko sa rumors kahit sabihin ko sa sarili ko na as long as alam ko ang totoo of course na-apektuhan din po ang career ni Kuya Quen and nakakahiya po kasi nga hindi naman kami super close,” she said.
She reiterated that there is no romantic relationship between them.
“No po tito, friends lang, ha, ha, ha,” she added.
Brown further clarified that there was no reason for her to be at Gil’s residence, countering claims that they had been living under one roof.
“Wala pong reason na pumunta ako sa kanila,” she said.
Despite her denial, Diaz noted that sources claim Gil’s family allegedly does not favor Brown, with some reportedly preferring his former partner Liza Soberano.
As of now, Enrique Gil has yet to issue a statement regarding the rumors.
