Actor and Tarlac 2nd District board member Arron Villaflor said he no longer plans to take on sexy roles in films as he continues to face online controversy involving alleged viral videos linked to him.

The actor made the statement during an interview held before the mediacon of his action-drama film ‘Pater Noster’.
Villaflor previously denied being involved in any explicit video circulating online, claiming that the materials being shown by some netizens were taken from his past projects with the streaming platform VMX.
“Sabi, ‘Arron, meron ka daw scandal.’ Sabi ko, pakita niyo sa akin. Lahat ng pinapakita nila came from VMX projects.”
He also suggested that the issue could be part of political attacks against him.
“Ay naku, napakarami po (demolition job). It’s part of the political industry, so depende sa ’yo on how you’re gonna react.”
Villaflor won as board member of Tarlac’s 2nd District in the most recent elections, and the controversy reportedly did not affect his victory.
Despite his denial, discussions among netizens intensified after another video surfaced online that some claim features a man resembling the actor with two women.
As of writing, Villaflor has not released a statement regarding the newly circulating clip.
The issue forms part of a broader online controversy involving alleged leaked videos of several actors, which netizens have dubbed the “Big Four.”
Amid the controversy, Villaflor emphasized that he has already moved on from doing sexy roles in films.
“No more sexy roles, galing na tayo diyan. I’ve been doing those things for almost two years, three years.”
He explained that he now intends to be more selective about the projects he accepts.
“Hindi na siya tulad nang dati. It’s not easy compared before. Right now, I have to choose my work.”
The controversy has also brought increased attention to Villaflor’s social media accounts. His Instagram following reportedly grew from around 601,000 followers on February 28 to about 605,000 by March 3, as public interest in the issue continued online.
Meanwhile, Villaflor remains focused on his acting career and upcoming projects. His latest film, “Pater Noster,” is scheduled to open in cinemas on March 25.
