Speculation is circulating online that actress Chie Filomeno and businessman Matthew Lhuillier may have quietly gone their separate ways, after observant netizens noticed changes in their activity on social media.
Some Instagram users pointed out that Lhuillier has recently been liking posts of his former girlfriend, Jolie Jurkovich, while appearing inactive on Filomeno’s latest posts.
The online chatter intensified because Lhuillier and Jurkovich reportedly never unfollowed each other on social media even after their own rumored split.
However, despite the speculation, Filomeno and Lhuillier still follow each other on Instagram, suggesting that nothing has been publicly confirmed about the status of their relationship.
Observers also noted that the rumored couple has not posted photos together for some time. Some netizens also pointed out that the two were not seen celebrating Valentine’s Day together online, which further fueled breakup rumors.
Others noticed that Filomeno has recently resumed posting more glamorous and revealing photos on social media, something fans said she had toned down when rumors about her relationship with Lhuillier first surfaced.
Despite the ongoing speculation, it is worth noting that Filomeno and Lhuillier never publicly confirmed that they were in a relationship, even though dating rumors about them began circulating in September 2025.
The rumors gained traction shortly after Filomeno’s breakup with actor Jake Cuenca, who confirmed in an October 2025 interview that their relationship had ended.
“I’m good at least… it’s a lot to take, di ba? It’s a little bit… ang daming nangyayari. Ang daming sinasabi ng mga tao,” Cuenca said at the time. “But, siguro I can officially say that that chapter of my life is over now.”
In late November 2025, Filomeno and Lhuillier were also spotted together at Oakridge Marketplace in Cebu, where a short video circulating online showed the businessman taking photos of the actress with a staff member and a security guard.
As of now, neither Filomeno nor Lhuillier has issued a statement addressing the rumors about their relationship status.
