Actor-dancer Mark Herras is facing allegations of failing to appear at a scheduled event in Barangay Nieves, San Leonardo, Nueva Ecija, despite reportedly receiving a down payment for the booking.

The issue was raised in a recent episode of the online show ‘Showbiz Updates’, where host Mama Loi shared details of the supposed no-show.

“Ang sabi po nila, may commitment pa daw do’n si Mark para do’n sa grand parade at sobrang daming tao raw ‘yong nag-abang sa kaniya,” Mama Loi said.

She added that local officials were allegedly upset over the situation.

“Sobrang nagalit daw ‘yong buong barangay council ng Nieves, San Leonardo. Kasi nga raw, walang reply. Sobrang daming tawag daw pero hindi nag-a-update. […] Nakapag-down payment na raw kay Mark Herras,” she said.

According to the report, attendees reportedly waited for hours, but Herras did not arrive, prompting frustration from organizers and residents.

The incident also placed the event’s booker in a difficult position, as they are said to be the one contractually responsible for ensuring the talent’s appearance.

“Mukhang magsasampa ng kaso ‘yong sanggunian laban sa kaniya dahil nga siya ‘yong booker. Siya ‘yong may responsibilidad na umappear ‘yong talent na binook,” Mama Loi added.

Further claims suggested that repeated attempts to contact Herras went unanswered, with some alleging that communication channels were eventually blocked.

As of writing, Herras has yet to issue any statement or clarification regarding the matter.

LionhearTV remains open to publishing the actor’s side once he responds to the allegations.
