Speculation about the television return of ‘Wowowin’ has intensified after Willie Revillame was spotted meeting with executives from GMA Network.

The buzz gained traction after Joy Marcelo, First Vice President for Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Talent Development & Management, shared an Instagram Story showing Revillame in a dinner meeting with Kapuso executives, including Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes.
The “catch-up” fueled online chatter, with many interpreting the meeting as a strong that ‘Wowowin’ could return to its former home network.
The development comes on the heels of Revillame’s earlier announcement that his online game show ‘Wilyonaryo’ will conclude on May 15.
Ganoon talaga,” he said.
He explained that the show will transition fully into an online gaming format.
Revillame also cited business realities behind the decision.
Ganoon talaga, minsan may isinasara. Meron din binubuksan.”
Following the announcement, the veteran host confirmed that ‘Wowowin’ is set to return to television.
However, Revillame stopped short of naming the network where the show will air.
“Anong channel? Abangan niyo po yan! Wowowin will be back this coming May…
Hints of a Kapuso comeback have been building, especially after Revillame released a teaser featuring visuals associated with GMA Network, including scenes reminiscent of the long queues of studio audiences during Wowowin’s original run from 2015 to 2023.
“Every day ganyan po ang pila sa programang Wowowin, Monday to Friday… Nagbebenta ng buko, fishballs… Nagkaroon po ng business diyan,” he recalled.
“2015, nagsimula po ang Wowowin sa GMA-7 and then, medyo alam ninyo na, tumulong ako sa All TV na hindi naman kami naging successful.”
While no official confirmation has been issued, the recent meeting with GMA Network executives has only strengthened speculation that Revillame may be returning to the Kapuso network.
Amid the transition, Revillame emphasized that his mission remains unchanged regardless of platform.
Wala hong nalalaos sa kabutihang puso at kapag ikaw ay tumutulong,” he said.
“May programa man ako o wala, e, tuluy-tuloy dapat ang kabutihan na ginagawa.”
As of now, viewers await the official announcement confirming where Wowowin will land as it makes its anticipated television comeback.
