Television host Willie Revillame has officially announced the upcoming return of his long-running variety game show ‘Wowowin,’ following the scheduled conclusion of his online program ‘Wilyonaryo.’

During the April 27 episode of ‘Wilyonaryo’, Revillame clarified that the show was always intended to be temporary.
Talaga pong babalik na ang ‘Wowowin,’” he said.
The online game show, which launched in January 2026 in time for his 65th birthday, is set to air its final episode on May 15.
He explained that the decision was driven by a shift in direction for the program.
Revillame also cited financial realities behind the move.
Ganoon talaga, minsan may isinasara. Meron din binubuksan.”
Following the announcement, Revillame teased the return of Wowowin, assuring viewers that preparations are already underway.
However, the veteran host stopped short of confirming which network will carry the show.
“Anong channel? Abangan niyo po yan! Wowowin will be back this coming May…
Speculation about a possible return to GMA Network gained traction after Revillame released a teaser featuring imagery associated with the Kapuso network, where ‘Wowowin’ previously aired from 2015 to 2023.
He also recalled the show’s strong impact during its original run.
“Every day ganyan po ang pila sa programang Wowowin, Monday to Friday… Nagbebenta ng buko, fishballs… Nagkaroon po ng business diyan,” he said.
Further fueling rumors, Revillame was recently spotted in a meeting with GMA executives, though no official confirmation has been issued.
Despite the transition, Revillame emphasized that his commitment to helping Filipinos remains unchanged.
Wala hong nalalaos sa kabutihang puso at kapag ikaw ay tumutulong,” he said.
“May programa man ako o wala, e, tuluy-tuloy dapat ang kabutihan na ginagawa.”
