Actress Yukii Takahashi has finally addressed rumors linking her to actor Marco Gumabao.

The topic came up during the grand mediacon of the film ‘Almost Us’, where Takahashi is part of the supporting cast alongside lead stars Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra.
When asked if she is open to having a love team of her own, Takahashi responded, “Hopefully, hopefully, yeah.”
She was then directly asked about her connection with Gumabao—whether it is an on-screen or off-screen partnership.
“Off-screen po iyan,” she clarified.
“That was real naman (yung mga nakikita nilang pictures namin),” she added, referring to photos of them circulating online.
Despite the speculation, Takahashi maintained that there is no project linking her and Gumabao professionally, and clarified the nature of their relationship.
“Ngayon, I’m happy…We’re friends,” she said.
Rumors about the two first surfaced on January 1, 2026, after Takahashi shared her “holiday recap” on Instagram, where she posted several photos with Gumabao. One of the photos showed the actor with his arm around her shoulder during a gathering attended by his family, including his mother Loli Gumabao and sister Michele Gumabao.

The buzz continued after Gumabao posted an Instagram Story showing the two jogging together in UP Diliman, Quezon City.
“We’re done,” Takahashi could be heard saying in the video.
“10K done,” Gumabao replied, followed by a high-five.
The clip was captioned “First run of the year!” with Takahashi tagged in the post.
