Actor Alvin Aragon publicly disagreed with statements made by Vice Ganda regarding parenting and family during a recent episode of It’s Showtime.

Vice previously shared his thoughts on parenthood while discussing the reasons some people choose to have children.
“Yung iba, bakit gusto mong maging magulang?
“The beauty of becoming a mother is the ability to give, not because of what you receive. That makes motherhood really noble,” he added.
Following the viral clip, Alvin posted a lengthy response on Instagram where he questioned Vice’s authority to speak about marriage and parenting.
The actor also argued that not all parents have the same motivations in raising children and that there is nothing wrong with hoping to receive care and support from their children later in life.
He further emphasized his religious beliefs while defending parents who may rely on their children in old age.
God loves the needy!” he added.
The exchange reignited online discussions involving Alvin and Vice, especially after previous instances where Vice seemingly joked about the actor during appearances on ‘Family Feud’ and ‘It’s Showtime’.
During a March episode of ‘Family Feud’ hosted by Dingdong Dantes, Vice jokingly answered “Amats” during a game segment and followed it with a dramatic line that many netizens interpreted as a reference to Alvin’s previous testimonies about faith and repentance.
Alvin previously drew criticism online after making controversial remarks involving the LGBTQIA+ community while citing his Christian beliefs. The actor is married to former SexBomb Girls member Izzy Trazona.
