Actor Jake Ejercito drew laughs and reactions online after posting a witty comment amid the dramatic events involving Senator Ronald dela Rosa at the Senate on Monday, May 11.

On his Facebook page, Jake appeared to poke fun at the now-viral video showing Dela Rosa seemingly running away from operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation who were reportedly attempting to serve an arrest warrant connected to the International Criminal Court investigation.
“Strava reveal naman diyan, sen,” Jake wrote, referencing the popular fitness and running app used to track physical activity and distance covered.
The actor later followed up the post by sharing a link to an online “Impeach Sara Duterte Signature Campaign.”
Netizens quickly flocked to the comments section and reacted to Jake’s post.
Jake was not the only celebrity who reacted to the controversial Senate developments involving Dela Rosa.
Actress Bela Padilla also criticized the senator after a video circulated online showing him raising his voice at a female reporter who was asking about his return to the Senate after months of absence.
“So many questions. First, who gave that man the right to shout at a woman calmly asking him questions that are valid,” Bela wrote on Instagram Stories.
“Yes, we’d like to know. Ikaw na nga nagsabi na sumusweldo ka. So nasaan ka recently? Sumusuweldo ka ng hindi ka pumapasok, okay ba yun?” she added.
The actress also questioned why the senator appeared emotional during the incident.
“Second, why so hysterical? Calm down. Did you come to work today to finally do some good work today, sir?” Bela further said.
Meanwhile, actress Agot Isidro also reportedly shared her own frustrations online regarding the Senate controversy.
Dela Rosa recently resurfaced at the Senate after months of absence, coinciding with discussions involving the impeachment proceedings against Vice President Sara Duterte and reports about the ICC warrant connected to the Duterte administration’s anti-drug campaign.
