Philippine television’s primetime ratings race continues to heat up as ‘Sang’gre’ once again posted strong numbers as it draws near its finale.
According to the most recent available ratings report from the Nielsen NUTAM People survey, despite the improving storyline of its rival ‘Blood vs. Duty (BVD),’ ‘San’gre’ continues to dominate the weekday ratings chart.
On Friday, April 10, 2026 ‘Sang’gre’ recorded a rating of 9.7 percent, 6.2 percent higher than Blood vs. Duty which scored 3.5 percent, and 9.1 percent ahead of TV5’s “Totoy Bato’s” 0.6 percent.
On the following broadcast on Monday, April 13, “Sang’gre” climbed even higher reaching 10.8 percent against Kapamilya action-thriller BVD which record 4.6 percent ratings and Totoy Bato getting 1% rating.
On Tuesday, April 14, the Kapuso telefantasya slightly dipped but still maintained a strong viewership at 9.8 percent besting BVD again which registered a rating of 3.9%, and Totoy Bato which stayed at 1 percent.
For the week of April 20-23, “San’gre” again dominated the ratings board even climbing to the top bumping fellow Kapuso ’24 Oras.’
On Monday, April 20, “Sang’gre” posted a rating of 10.8% still winning against BVD which earned 4.2 percent and “Totoy Bato” posting 1.2 percent.
The next day, Tuesday, April 21, “Sang’gre” maintained its lead although it slightly decreased at 9.6 percent against BVD’s 3.9 percent and “Totoy Bato’s” 1.1 percent.
On Wednesday, April 22, the Kapuso telefantasya quickly recovered earning 10.2 percent ratings, leading BVD at 4.1 percent and ‘Totoy Bato’ with 1.1 percent again.
And on Thursday, April 23, “Sang’gre” surged to the number 1 spot of the overall ratings board bumping off ’24 Oras’, scoring 11.2 percent ratings. BVD meanwhile posted a rating of 3.7 percent and ‘Totoy Bato’ with 1.2 percent.
The consistent strong performance of “Sang’gre” further proves the continued appeal of fantasy dramas among Filipino viewers, especially as anticipation builds toward its much-awaited ending.
