Actor Albie Casiño says he is grateful to be thriving in both mainstream entertainment and the streaming platform VMX, as he continues to take on diverse acting projects.

During the press conference for ‘Hibla 2’, Albie shared that he takes pride in being able to work across different platforms, proving his versatility as an actor.
According to Albie, he is happy that projects have been coming one after another, allowing him to save up for an upcoming trip to the United States.
The actor revealed that he will be flying to the U.S. next month to visit his child and the child’s mother, who are both based there. He also shared that he plans to stay in America until October, which is why he has been working continuously.
Albie admitted that living expenses in the United States can be costly, motivating him to accept as many projects as possible before his trip.
In ‘Hibla 2’, Albie takes on the role originally portrayed by the late veteran actor Ricky Davao in the 2002 film Hibla, which starred Maui Taylor and Rica Peralejo.
The sequel features Albie alongside VMX stars Aliya Raymundo, Margaret Diaz, and Ghion Espinosa, under the direction of Topel Lee.
Despite the film’s sensual themes, Albie said he had no reservations about appearing in the project, emphasizing that ‘Hibla 2’ is a well-crafted film backed by a respected filmmaker.
The sequel also highlights Aliya Raymundo as Carla, a sophisticated woman in her mid-20s who returns from Manila with a more liberated outlook on life, while Margaret Diaz portrays Jillian, a traditional and innocent pandan weaver from the province whose strong belief in love provides a contrast to Carla’s worldview.

Directed by Topel Lee, ‘Hibla 2’ serves as the long-awaited sequel to the 2002 erotic drama and will begin streaming exclusively on VMX starting June 30.
