Kapamilya star Belle Mariano looked back on seven memorable years with longtime on-screen partner Donny Pangilinan, expressing gratitude to both the actor and their loyal supporters as the beloved DonBelle love team enters a new phase in their careers.
In an emotional video message shared on social media, Belle reflected on the journey that began with uncertainty but eventually blossomed into one of the country’s most successful love teams.
“Seven years. It’s such a simple number to say, but it holds countless memories, lessons and moments that changed our lives forever,” Belle said as clips from their early projects played in the background.
“It feels just like yesterday when we first stepped on screen together, unsure of what this journey would lead us. We only knew what we would face—every challenge, every fear, every dream, side by side. Before we knew it, something beautiful had grown beyond us.”
According to Belle, their partnership eventually became more than just the two of them as fans embraced and supported DonBelle through every milestone.
“It was no longer just about Donny and Belle, it became about all of you who chose to believe in us and walk with us every step of the way,” she shared.
Belle also dedicated a heartfelt message to Donny, whom she affectionately calls “Nato,” thanking him for being her constant partner throughout the past seven years.
“To Nato, thank you. Thank you for being my partner through every chapter of these seven years. Thank you for being the most reliable anchor throughout this whirlwind of a ride. From our very first workshop together to our late-night shoots, you’ve been my constant teammate, my confidant, my partner in every sense of the word.”
Although Donny and Belle have decided to pursue individual projects for now, the actress emphasized that their journey together is far from over.
“We built so much together, dreams we once thought were impossible. And now, as we both choose to explore new paths and grow as individual artists and people, I want you to know how deeply grateful I am for everything we created together.
“This is not a goodbye. It’s simply a ‘see you later.’ While we explore new skies, I promise I will always be your biggest cheerleader from across the room.”
Belle also expressed her deep appreciation to the DonBelle fandom, affectionately known as the Bubblies, for their unwavering support through the years.
“To our beloved Bubblies, thank you will never be enough. You are the heartbeat of this love team, of this beautiful journey. You have shown up for us unconditionally through every milestone, every success, every setback, and in every moment we needed the strength to keep going.
“You filled venues, trended topics, celebrated our victories and shielded us when things got tough. But more importantly, it’s the genuine love, the loyalty and the community you’ve built among yourselves that has truly moved us.
“You stood by us. Thank you for your love. You didn’t just support the love team. You became a home. You became a family. Thank you for your trust and faith. And thank you for staying.”
As both stars venture into solo careers, Belle encouraged fans to continue supporting them individually while embracing the evolution of DonBelle.
“And as we transition into this next chapter, we know this change can feel bittersweet. We hope you’ll continue walking with us. As we take these next steps as individual artists, we hope you’ll carry the same love and support you’ve given us in the past seven years.
“Because DonBelle is not a story about an ending, it’s a story about growth. And most meaningful stories do not truly end—they simply take new shapes.”
She concluded her tribute by thanking supporters for being part of what she described as the most magical years of their lives.
“So, thank you for the most magical years of our lives. You will always be our bubbles of joy, our constant light and our home. Wherever this next chapter leads, we carry all of you with us. We love you always. Hanggang sa wakas.”
Donny later responded in the comments section with a short but heartfelt message for Belle, writing, “This is beautiful, Tink.”
The tribute came after the successful run of ‘Tayo Sa Wakas,’ which became a certified box-office hit after earning more than ₱110 million nationwide. The film also serves as DonBelle’s final project together—for now—as both stars focus on expanding their careers as individual artists while continuing to support one another.
