Rising stars Rabin Angeles and Angela Muji are no longer hiding how close they have become, with the on-screen pair admitting that they miss each other whenever they are apart.

During the midseason media conference for their Viva One series ‘Dating Alys Perez’, the two opened up about the special bond they have developed—not only as a love team, but also as friends and colleagues.
Angeles revealed that even when they are not together on set, he makes it a point to check on Muji, especially on days when he wraps up filming earlier than she does.
“Opo.
When asked if he misses her during those times, the actor gave a straightforward answer.
“Opo naman.”
Muji echoed the same sentiment, saying she looks for Angeles’ presence whenever they are apart.
“Ako po, hinahanap ko ang presence niya. Kasi happy pill ko po kasi siya. Kapag nasa set at early siya mapapa-pack up, tahimik na ako, wala nang cute sa paligid,” she said with a laugh.

She added that it is not only her who enjoys Angeles’ company on set.
Beyond their easy chemistry, both stars said they have learned valuable lessons from one another.
For Angeles, Muji has helped him become more patient and has even assisted him with his English.

Meanwhile, Muji credited Angeles for helping her become more outgoing and comfortable interacting with people.
She explained that Angeles never explicitly taught her the lesson but inspired her through his own actions.
‘Oh, kilala mo ‘yan? Sino ‘yan?’ ‘Oo kilala ko, bakit? Oh, good!’ Parang nakakatuwa lang na meron akong nati-take na things from him na I know would affect my life positively.”
The candid exchange has further delighted fans of the “RabGel” pairing, who have been following their growing friendship both on and off screen.
Angeles and Muji currently headline ‘Dating Alys Perez’, Viva One’s adaptation of Beeyotch’s popular Wattpad novel. Muji stars as Alys Perez, while Angeles plays Drake Palma, with Zeke Polina portraying Tripp Palma.

Directed by Crisanto B. Aquino, the romantic drama continues to heat up as Alys finds herself torn between her feelings for Drake and her relationship with Tripp. The series is streaming on Viva One through August.
