VMX is adding two new titles to its September lineup with the special feature “Masahe,” hosted by Zsara Laxamana, and the Louie Ignacio film “Desperada,” starring Robb Guinto.

While “Masahe” explores different forms of sensual massage with fellow VMX artists Joko Rivera and Yasmin Alba, “Desperada” takes a more dramatic route with a story about a troubled woman trying to rebuild her life and finding an unexpected connection along the way.

Premiering September 22, “Masahe” puts Laxamana at the center of a special feature exploring different massage techniques associated with intimacy, relaxation, and sensuality.

Joining her are Joko Rivera and Yasmin Alba, with the special beginning with a pre-massage bath before moving on to demonstrations of the featured techniques.

Among those presented are tantric massage and its variations, lingam and yoni massage, as well as nuru, autoerotic, and four-hand massage.

Tantric massage emphasizes slow, deliberate touch and heightened body awareness, while lingam and yoni massages are presented as more intimate variations of the practice.

Nuru massage, meanwhile, is characterized by the extensive use of massage gel or oil and close body contact. Autoerotic massage focuses on exploring one’s own body, while the four-hand technique involves two practitioners performing coordinated movements simultaneously.

Laxamana will not merely introduce the segments. Under the direction of Rodante Y. Pajemna Jr., the VMX actress will also participate in one of the featured massage demonstrations.

“Masahe” begins streaming on VMX on September 22.

Taking a different direction is “Desperada,” a drama directed by Louie Ignacio and headlined by Robb Guinto alongside Yaser Marta and Mhack Morales.

Also part of the cast are Julianne Richards, Sue Prado, and Mercedes Cabral.

The film follows Brenda (Guinto), a young woman dealing with mental health struggles who is admitted to a facility under the care of social worker Miriam (Prado) and her partner Carol (Cabral).

Inside the facility, Brenda meets other patients, including Gigi (Richards) and Hesus (Morales), who is described as struggling with compulsive sexual behavior.

As Brenda attempts to recover and put her life back together, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Lucio (Marta), a former friend who is now homeless.

Their reunion develops into an unconventional relationship as Brenda navigates her personal struggles and searches for another chance at life and love.

Beyond its romantic storyline, “Desperada” also delves into the difficult experiences of people living inside a mental health facility and the circumstances surrounding Brenda’s journey toward recovery.

“Desperada” began streaming on VMX on September 18, while “Masahe” premieres September 22.

Both titles are available to VMX subscribers through its streaming platforms and mobile app.
