Despite being dubbed as “Reyna ng Komedya sa Pilipinas,” TV comedian and actress Ai Ai delas Alas still look up to other celebrities in the showbiz industry. One of Ai Ai’s idols is Cong. Vilma Santos-Recto, who recently celebrated her “35th” birthday in HongKong with her family, Sen. Ralph Recto and son Ryan Christian, together with some friends.
Ai Ai took to social media her birthday greeting for the one and only “Star for All Seasons.”
“HAPPIEST BDAY SA AKING IDOL FOREVER…congresswoman, my dearest ATE VI HAPPY BDAY. More years and blessings to come. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH.
In a photo of Ai Ai and Vilma, the comedian wrote: “Ang tunay na petmalu kong LODI habangbuhay walang tatalo sa idol ko sa lahat ng aspeto ng buhay…wohoooo the best LODI KO!!! Congresswoman VILMA SANTOS RECTO!”
Ai Ai also reminisced the good old days where she wakes up early to watch “Wonder Vi,” the series starring the congresswoman back in the 1970s.
“Sa may Guadalupe ako nanood ng WONDER VI aga aga nag iintay ako na magbukas ng sinehan kasama ko pinsan ko malaking lalaki para wag ako umiyak. Tyaga siyang samahan ako hehe…#lodiforever #vilmaniansincebirth,” she added.
