Residents, locators, and guests will soon be able to enjoy free Wi-Fi access in strategic areas of Filinvest City Alabang, the premier garden city in Metro South. The service is in partnership with Smart Communications.
The introduction of free Wi-Fi access is expected to make people enjoy to the fullest the various attractions of Filinvest City, a true green commercial business district that harmonizes modern conveniences and nature. Lush, landscaped parks, open spaces and bike lanes, which are part of Filinvest City’s master plan, provide a beautiful backdrop to different outdoor activities.
“We live in an increasingly connected world,” says Filinvest Alabang, Inc. Senior Assistant Vice-President Don Ubaldo. “By offering free Internet access in key public spaces, we want people to savor Filinvest City’s eco-centric features even as they enjoy fast and reliable connection courtesy of Smart.”
The free Wi-Fi access, with a bandwidth of up to 100 mbps, will be available by the end of the year at the South Station public transport hub and Spectrum Linear Park, the centerpiece of Filinvest City, a tree-canopied walkway spanning across the north and south ends. The area also features tree-lined, landscaped pathways, lighted seating areas, and stimulating outdoor art installations.
Filinvest City will offer free Wi-Fi access for a maximum of 30 minutes daily, while additional minutes and usage may be bought from Smart.
