AlDub’s half, Maine Mendoza was recently ranked fifth among the Top 10 Most-Tweeted Celebrities in the World.
On Tuesday, December 5, Twitter Philippines announced its list of 10 Most-Tweeted Celebrities in the World with Maine Mendoza placing 5th and the only Filipino in the list.
The “Eat Bulaga!” host who gained prominence from the AlDub loveteam of “Kalyeserye” joined the ranks of Bangtan Boys, Justin Bieber, Nial Horan and Harry Styles in 2017’s Most Tweeted Celebrities.
Aside from ranking 5th in the World, Mendoza also known as Yaya Dub was also named as the Most Tweeted Filipino Twitter account.
Mendoza’s Twitter account @mainedcm was ranked number 1 in the list of 10 Most-Tweeted Filipino accounts alongside Alden Richards (@aldenrichards02) at number two, AlDubNation’s @aldubnation at number three, Kisses Delavin (@delavinkisses) at number four and @ohteenquotes at number five.
Completing the top 10 are, Kathryn Bernardo (@bernardokath) in 6th place, Daniel Padilla (@imdanielpadilla) in 7th, Maymay Entrata (@maymayentrata07) in 8th, Elisse Joson (@elissejoson) in 9th and Vice Ganda (@vicegandako) at number 10.
Meanwhile, Mendoza’s love team “AlDub” with Alden Richards was ranked number one Most-Tweeted Love Teams of 2017.
Joining AlDub in the top 5 are Kathniel in second place, JaDine in third, LizQuen in fourth and MayWard taking the fifth spot.
