Daryl Ong published a video of his own version of the theme song for Korean drama hit series, Goblin. Many netizens already watched the said video of his translation and interpretation for the theme song.
South Korea’s INS Entertainment reached out to Daryl and offered him a record deal.
In a report from Bandila, Daryl shared how he met with a Korean composer-producer and shared that their goal is to release Korean music globally.
“Mayroong isang sikat na Korean composer-producer, sa Korea of course na nakapanuod nung version ko nung Beautiful. Sinabi niya na intersted siyang isama ako sa isang Korean-produced album. Of course, siya ang magproproduce which aims to parang i-release ‘yung Korean music globally.”
In the said record deal, Daryl will have two Korean songs which he will record in English. Meanwhile, Daryl made his trip in South Korea worthwhile as he shot the music video for his new single, Mahal Pa Rin Kita. Watch the video below of Daryl’s version of Beautiful – Crush.
