Primetime King Coco Martin and Box-Office Queen Judy Ann Santos reign supreme on TV as their latest blockbusters, “Ang Panday” and “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” hit television screens via SKY’s Star Cinema Pay-Per-View.
From April 28 to May 18, SKY subscribers who do not have time to regularly visit the cinema can catch two of Star Cinema’s recent hit movies at home for the price of one.
In “Ang Panday,” Coco plays Flavio III, grandson of the original Panday, whose life takes a 360-degree turn when he embarks on a journey to save humanity upon discovering that his bloodline is the only one that can defeat the forces of evil.
Besides raking in millions in the box office, the seventh installment of the “Panday” series also earned four awards from the Metro Manila Film Festival including the Special Jury Prize and Best Visual Effects.
Meanwhile, Judy Ann Santos marks her comeback on the big screen with Angelica Panganiban in “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes,” a film about two brokenhearted women who exact revenge against their husbands as they come out gay and involved in an affair.
One of the critically acclaimed films of the year, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes” is directed by Jun Lana, the filmmaker behind other hits like “Die Beautiful,” “Barber’s Tales,” and “The Prenup,” among others.
