- Janine Gutierrez and Andrea Torres are now confirmed cast of “Victor Magtanggol”.
- Both actresses will have some action-time and had to undergo training.

“Victor Magtanggol” crew welcomes their newest cast members, Janine Gutierrez and Andrea Torres.
Janine Gutierrez will play the character Gwen Regaldo, a field reporter. Part of his task to prepare for the series is to observe GMA field reporters and get an idea how field reporters do their job.
She also trained in Parkour because she will also be part in some action scenes.
Janine shared in her interview on “24 Oras” that it’s her dream to play action scenes. “Para lang panigurado, siyempre makakasama pa rin ako dahil malaki ‘yung mga eksena ng show eh. Lahat ng tao madadamay sa malalaking gulo, mga action scenes.”
Andrea Torres, on the other hand, will play as the goddess “Sif” who will be Alden’s guide and love interest. She will also play action scenes and had to undergo training.
Andrea explained that “Victor Magtanggol” is a family-friendly series, “‘Yung mga pamilya, mage-enjoy silang panoorin siya habang kumakain sila. ‘Yung ganoon, pang-bonding talaga. Lahat makaka-relate,”
Janine and Andrea both admitted that they admire Alden as a co-star.
Andrea said, “Magandang leader siya kasi ang gaan-gaan ng aura niya. Kahit anong oras talagang nakangiti.”
Janine added, “Mahusay talaga na artista si Alden. Nakita ko yung mga eksena niya na naka-costume siya. Exciting and sigurado ako na magugulat din yung mga manunuod.”
