Vice Ganda mentioned Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza‘s love team better known as AlDub in a recent episode of It’s Showtime aired on Wednesday, November 21.
He joked against a It’s Showtime fan. He also encouraged a Tawag ng Tanghalan contestant to replicate an AlDub split-screen scene.
A Showtime fan?
Vice expressed how loyal It’s Showtime viewers are, “Masaya dito kaya may mga loyal viewers tayo. Pasensiya na po kayo, wala kaming masyadong pera pero patatawanin namin kayo.”
An audience member shouted, “I love you.”
Vice answered back with, “I love you, too.”
The comedian kidded that the audience member didn’t watch It’s Showtime during the prime of AlDub‘s Kalyeserye back then.
“Sabi ka ng I love you, echosera ka. Nung kaputukan ng AlDub, hindi ka nanonood dito. Samantalang dati binash niyo ako, wala naman akong ginagawa.”

When fellow It’s Showtime host asked Vice how he knew about the split-screen, the comedian was quick to reply:
“Nanunuod ako, eh. Isa ako sa mga sumuporta sa AlDub.”
Vice has always mentioned Eat Bulaga, its hosts and its famous love team: AlDub. The longest noontime show, however, has yet to acknowledge this or even mention the comedian’s name on-air.
