Derek Ramsay is confirmed to sign a contract with GMA Network and this was scheduled to take place early this year.
The schedule for signing the contract with GMA Network was delayed because, according to Derek, he is busy with some things yet.
The GMA Network Entertainment Group avoids talking about this delay in the contract signing.
“Wala pa akong masasabi diyan. Siguro when the time comes, marami na tayong masasabi,” Ms. Lilybeth Rasonable safety explained.
“Siguro lumabas na naman yun eh, na nagkaroon ng mga pag-uusap,” she answered when asked whether the signing is still on going, or if there’s still a contract signing to take place.

Ms. Lilybeth just can’t share what their plans are for the hunk actor. There are lot of projects the Network is focusing and working on for this year.
Derek started as a host in ‘Eat Bulaga’ before joining ABS-CBN. He is best known for his supporting roles in the ABS-CBN television dramas ‘Ysabella,’ ‘Habang May Buhay’ and ‘Magkaribal.’ He transferred to TV5 in 2012 and expired just last last October.
