Pldt-Smart foundation helps power up the nation’s National Defense
The PLDT Group through its social outreach arm the PLDT-Smart Foundation, donated one of its cell towers in Pasuguin, Ilocos Norte to the Philippine Air Force (PAF).
The cell tower located at PAF’s Paredes Air Station, will help support the aerial branch of the country’s Armed Forces C4iStar Project.
C4iStar is a program by PAF meant to enhance its telecommunication capabilities and upgrade its online facilities.
The formal turnover of the tower was done at the Heroes Golf Tournament hosted by the Makati Medical Center Foundation in Villamor Airbase Golf Club in Pasay City.
