Kapamilya Actor Jerome Ponce denied rumors that he has a photo scandal.
During the mediacon of Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love last September 23 at Valencia Events Place, Quezon City, the actor passed off the rumors in a joking manner.
“Pag malaki, akin yun… pero pag ano… joke lang.”
The actor straightforwardly denied that is not his and doesn’t do such things.
“Iniisip ko, hawak ko ba ang phone ko habang nasa CR ako? Parang wala. So, confident ako. Alam ko sa sarili na hindi ako maganun.”
The actor said that if people keep saying that it’s his photo, then it’s his since he can’t control people’s opinions. Jerome added that this happens yearly and it’s not new to him.
“Kung meron man… e, di akin na yun. Pinipilit, e, di akin na lang. Hindi talaga, e.May nagsabi sa akin… almost yearly, may mga ganyan, e. Hindi ako ganung klaseng tao,” Jerome replied.
In his upcoming movie under Regal Films, Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love, Jerome plays a gay character with a love interest played by Anjo Damiles.
Jerome said he was proud that he was able to do a daring scene with co-star Anjo.
“Ang dami kong nilunok… paninibago, e. Hindi ko kinaya pero masarap din na nagawa ko yun.”
