What will happen to the artists after “Sunday All Stars” bid goodbye?

Despite the show’s consistent win against “ASAP 20” (Yes they’re winning!) on AGB Nielsen for Mega Manila, “Sunday All Stars” will still be close sooner than we expected.

SAS All Stars

The sadder news is, the usual musical-variety program on GMA Network every Sunday afternoon will be replaced by a talk show to be hosted by Ai-Ai delas Alas and Marian Rivera. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid was supposed to be part of this show but she declined the invitation for some obvious reasons.

This means that the show needs less people and most of the current staff and artists of the show will soon bid goodbye too. It’s just hard to imagine how the Kapuso management think of possible show to rival “ASAP 20” without sacrificing a lot of talents. GMA Network came up with a better program in 2010 based on what I have seen and again, same as the faith of other Kapuso musical-variety shows, unfortunately, the management canceled the show in 2013. It was almost perfect, believe me. Almost!

I still wonder what will happen next to Kapuso’s favorite performers especially Julian Trono, Julie Anne San Jose, Aicelle Santos, Mark Herras, Jonalyn Viray, Jaya Ramsey and Regine Velasquez? They are some of the best Kapuso talents I know deserving to have a better show, better of course than “Sunday All Stars.”

It’s so sad that this is happening again. I hope the management will learn their lesson from this.
