Concert Comedy Queen Ai-Ai Delas Alas and Kisses Delavin (who newly signed with Triple A management) will team up for the Regal Entertainment film D’ Ninang.
Directed by GB Sampedro, the comedy film follows the story of a criminal matriarch with a gang of thieves and her love-hate relationship with her estranged daughter. The film also stars McCoy de Leon, Kelvin Miranda, Angel Guardian, Kiray Celis, Lou Veloso, and Joey Marquez.
D’ Ninang is set to premiere on January 29 in cinemas nationwide and will go head to head with the zombie movie of Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia titled Block Z.
The Star Cinema movie directed by Mikhail Red took some time to get a playdate due to the special effects that were needed for the movie.
There were rumors that the delay was caused by Julia’s involvement as the third party in the breakup of Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson.
Julia’s split with love team partner Joshua also caused her to lose some support from fans.
