Filipino -Vietnamese actor Jay Manalo answered questions about his love life at a recent press conference for the Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday series of GMA Network.
The 46-year-old Kapuso actor was asked if two women who were friends ever fought over him in real life.
“Hindi pa. Nagpalasalamat ako na hindi kasi hindi ko rin naman gagawin yun kung alam kong magkaibigan,” Jay replied.

He added, “Ako yung nakikipag-agawan sa babae, nilalaban ko yung pag-ibig ko sa kanya.”
If ever this situation happens to him in real life, Jay said he’ll choose to distance himself.
Jay explained, “Mas pipiliin kong lumayo para hindi masira yung friendship nila. Kasi baka mas nauna sila na nagkaroon ng magandang relasyon kaysa naman ako na makikipagrelasyon ako sa bawat isa na sisirain ko lang yung relasyon na nabuo nila. Lalayo ako, sa totoong buhay yan ha!”
Jay is set to star in the newest Kapuso offering Anak ni Waray vs. Anak ni Biday. He plays Joaquin whom Snooky Serna (Amy) and Dina Bonnevie (Sussie) will fall in love with.T he two will give birth to Ginalyn and Caitlyn to be played by Barbie Forteza and Kate Valdez respectively.
Anak ni Waray vs Anak ni Biday is a remake of the 1984 film of the same title. It will hit primetime television this 2020.
The other members of the cast include Teresa Loyzaga, Celia Rodriguez, Migo Adecer, and Faith Da Silva.
