For nine long years, Gandang Gabi Vice (GGV) has been entertaining its viewers with comedic interviews and interactive games with both local and international stars every Sunday evening.
To commemorate its eighth-anniversary last year, Gandang Gabi Vice conducted a benefit show at Resorts World Manila last June 11, 2019 and all proceeds were given to ABS-CBN’s Tulong Center.
Since the last quarter of 2019 and until now, the late-night comedy show received challenges when it comes to TV ratings. Just last Sunday (February 2), the show was able to obtain 7.6% compared to its rival program The Boobay and Tekla Show with only 6.7% of TV rating according to Kantar Media. There were Sundays that the rival show of ‘GGV’ outscored them even in Kantar Media.
The latest NUTAM data shows ‘The Boobay and Tekla Show’ winning against ‘GGV’ by 0.5 points. Based on the NUTAM People Ratings for February 2, ‘TBATS’ recorded 5.1% while the Kapamilya show only got 4.6%.

Recently, Vice shared a snapshot on his Instagram story about that the taping for a new show Everybody Sing.
This post even fueled the rumor that ‘GGV’ is finally saying goodbye after almost 9 years. The show ‘Everybody Sing’ apparently was made to be the replacement of ‘Gang Gabi Vice.’
