Singer-actress Marissa Sanchez seems to be disappointed in the guesting of Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu on WISH FM for her newest single, “Bawal Lumabas.”
Kim’s guesting on Wish FM had made rounds on various social media sites, receiving derogatory feedback. Bashers claimed that Wish FM’s brand image for featuring real singers is now tainted by Kim’s guesting.
Marissa Sanchez seemed to share the same sentiment with bashers, according to Philstar News. The actress sarcastically commented that she wasn’t featured even though she’s a singer,
“Buti pa nga sya inere eh… biruin nyo… ako ang guesting ko jan hindi nilabas eh singer ako…”
Marissa is an actress and singer known mainly as a comedienne. She is known for her roles played in Mulawin, Ang Panday, and Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story.
Marissa is not the only singer who had the same reaction, Singer Bryan Termulo shared that he had guested on Wish FM but sometimes out of his 6 songs, only one was featured.
“As far as I know, naka 2 guestings na ako sa wishbus and per guesting 3 songs kinanta ko, luckily meron naman silang naipost 1out of 6 na kinanta ko. Happy nako dun. Nothing against Kim chui performance okay naman ang song nya at catchy din. Ganun talaga po ang mundo ng showbiz.”

He also stressed that maybe it is one of the radio FM’s marketing strategies.

Director of the Philippine Film Academy Vivian Velez was not happy about it as well. The veteran actress called out Star Magic for Kim’s appearance on Wish FM, which was criticized by many netizens.
“C’mmon! Who is managing this girl? Star Magic of Abs? Napaglalaruan… she’s making history in Wish Bus as having the most thumbs down 👎 tsk tsk tsk”

Despite the outrage that the actress has received after her classroom analogy, Kim thanked her supporters for the success of her latest ‘Bawal Lumabas’ single.
Chiu’s performance on the Wish 107.5 Bus has already garnered 4.5 million views and even made it to the top of the list of trending YouTube videos.
